Bikes
Due to restrictions from our suppliers and concerns for safety, we do not sell complete bicycles
online direct. However if you wish to purchase one of our bicycles and it is not available from
your local dealer please call us. Our online bike catalog is a guide to the product available from
our store, showing recommended retail prices for the New Zealand market.

What methods can I pay by?
When shopping with Avanti Plus Nelson, you can pay online by credit card (American Express, Visa,
Mastercard). You can also pay by electronic transfer.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
If stock is available at the time of order, expect delivery within 3 working days. If goods are
required to be sourced from our suppliers, expect 3-5 working days for delivery. Deliveries are
made Monday through Friday only.
PLEASE NOTE: Rural and some residential areas may require an additional day(s) delivery time.
How secure is shopping online with Avanti Plus Nelson?
Avanti Plus Nelson’s site is protected by encryption technology. This ensures a secure environment
for our customers.

What are the delivery charges?
From $5.00 for small items up to $40.00 for Bike size packages nationwide.
We will advise you on any purchase you make. We use traceable couriers either Courier Post or
Fastway Couriers
NOTE: Delivery to Rural areas may incur additional charges.

An email confirming your order has been placed will be sent to you. Additional emails may be sent
if any issues arise in any way. A 'Dispatch Confirmation' email will be sent to you when the goods
leave our building.
Payment Methods
Pay online by credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard). Payments are only processed when
the order shipment is ready to be dispatched, this is done manually. Avanti Plus Nelson’s site is
protected by SSL encryption technology, this ensures a secure store environment.

availability. They are correct at the time of loading and we endeavor to keep our prices as
accurate and as current as possible, however prices are subject to change without notice.
Returns and Refunds
Avanti Plus Nelson, and our suppliers, are committed to providing quality products and service. If
for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase upon receipt, please follow the
procedures below to ensure a prompt replacement, credit or refund. In the case of a fault or

before returning the goods.
When you need to return the item(s) to us, ensure it is packed well. Use a Parcel Carrier of your
choice. Please include your invoice or a copy of it and a note with your name, address, e-mail
address and reason for return.

Stock Availability
Avanti Plus Nelson has a large range of stock. However not all items are always available ex store.
Our aim is to supply your order in a timely fashion. However, if a supply issue arises then we will
contact you as soon as possible - items may only be delayed by an additional day or two. If items
are out of stock, we will also look for comparable items as options. If items are delayed
indefinitely and no alternative is found, the order can be cancelled.
Warranty
Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing
process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not
covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at
our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. Please contact us

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event
that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair,
replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or
unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services
including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New
Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The
Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
